Kidney Health New Zealand's Renal Nurses Conference 2010
The Renal Nurses Conference was held the weekend of 3-5 September 10

in Auckland at the Crowne Plaza. 40 Senior Renal Nurses from throughout NZ attended the Annual Conference run by Kidney Health New Zealand's Education Manager, Carmel Gregan-Ford

We were fortunate enough to have some excellent speakers



Jo Burton, Renal Transplant Co-ordinator Auckland District Health Board gave the nurses an update on Transplantation



Chris Baty, President Diabetes NZ gave an interesting talk on diabetes, living with diabetes and what we need to do to get the rates of diabetes down.


Jubeda Shah - CN Renal Ward CMDHB spoke on P-Tech PD catheter insertion and the Middlemore experience thus far.
